Chicago could be without quarterback Mitchell Trubisky when the first-place Bears visit the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day.
The Bears reported Monday evening that Trubisky suffered a right shoulder injury in Sunday night's 25-20 victory over Minnesota, which gave Chicago a 1 1/2-game lead over the Vikings in the NFC North. Detroit (4-6) is last, one-half game behind Green Bay (4-5-1).
If Trubisky cannot go, Chase Daniel will get the start. Daniel, 32, is a career backup who began his career with New Orleans in 2010 and has completed 65.4 percent of his 78 passes with one touchdown and one interception.
