Warriors' Durant to rest ankle vs. Nets

NEW YORK (AP) Kevin Durant is missing Golden State's game against Brooklyn on Sunday night because of a sprained left ankle.

Durant scored 27 points Saturday night as the Warriors rallied for a 124-116 victory at Philadelphia.

The NBA Finals MVP leads the Warriors with 24.9 points per game. Their next game after Sunday is on Wednesday at Oklahoma City, where Durant played before joining Golden State last season.

The Sixers said Fultz's return to action will be determined by how the shoulder responds to progressive basketball training and practices in the interim.

Magic won't host summer league in 2018

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) The Orlando Magic has decided to end their annual summer league.

Magic president of basketball operations Jeff Weltman said Sunday the trend of NBA teams playing in the Las Vegas Summer League led to the decision end Orlando Pro Summer League. Orlando's Summer League, which showcased rookies and young players, began in 2002.
